Social Sightseeing Run

Join us on 1 July from 06.30-08.00 and begin your day with fresh air and a new view of Copenhagen at our social sightseeing run. This relaxed morning activity includes gentle running intervals and short stops along the way, where you’ll hear stories and insights about selected landmarks.

It’s open to all levels - a light, informal way to explore the city, get moving, and connect with fellow participants before the conference day begins.

Opening Reception

Kick off the Wind Energy Science Conference 2027 with a taste of Danish tradition at our exclusive opening reception at Copenhagen City Hall on 29 June from 18.00-20.00.

This special event features the iconic rådhuspandekage - a ceremonial dessert served at official city events since the early 1900s.
